36"-1993-The five platonic solids are shown in this sphere, the icosahedron, dodecahedron, octahedron, hexahedron and the tetrahedron. Their squares, triangles, and pentagons all become circular tubular shapes which fit tightly onto the spherical surface. Each polyhedron has its own color. The way the five are organized together shows an relationship of their geometries. The overlapping and weaving of these tubular shapes brings out interesting synergetic patterns.
