      24"-1982-Uses the soccer ball design for its dome structure. The hexagons however are broken down into a smaller group of hexagons to make this structure now called the Bucky Ball. The strange people which live in this world use the structure for their hats etc. This structure was drawn first over the sphere as a tight polyhedron. Later some of the polygons were taken out in order to see outside the dome. Some of the pentagons become vanishing points outside for the hexagon sides to project back to.
