Lewis and Clark

Against The Current
A piece depicting the adventure of Lewis and Clark as they travelled up the Missouri River from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean. You can watch their journey unravel from the bottom of the sphere to the top. Some of the things you will see are famous landmarks, the new animals they encountered and some Native American Tribes they met along the way.

Porthole to the Past
A total view of the old town of Deadwood from 1876-9 before it all burned down in 1879. Termes used old photographs and information found in books written about that time period to make sure of its accuracy.

Forward to the Beginning
The Stairway of Life
This is a twenty-four inch diameter spherical painting. It was commissioned by Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The stairs symbolize our paths and choices through life.
