Platonic Relationships

1993, is a 36"  diameter sphere that plays with the five platonic solid and shows their interrelated geometry's. The squares, triangles and pentagons are all turned into cylinder loops.

Reflecting Back

17"  1989   Is part of the FAMOUS INTERIOR SERIES. Sometimes it is called the Adams Sphere from Deadwood, South Dakota.

Seeing Clearly

36"  1974   This transparent sphere plays with the concept of being able to see in all directions.

St. Marks Square

24"  2001   You are standing in St. Mark's Square in Venice.

The Eye

13"  2001   Three hemispheres join to create an eye.

Three Sided Cube

13"  2001   It has only three different sides to it because there is a shift in the walls from one plane to another plane.

Total Campus

13"  ALBANY   This piece was inspired from a trip to the Albany University Campus where Termes spoke on Art and Mathematics.

Two Worlds

24"-12"  One side shows a subconscious world the other side is a conscious world.

Up is Down

16"  1982   As you follow the building up to their top you find yourself on the bottom of the building again.

5-6-7

16"  1979   The people living outside have cubes on their heads, the people inside have spheres on their heads, they are spherical thinkers.
